Raise your hands if you thought it would be in week 9 of the NFL season that the Miami Dolphins would finally get their first win? Keep your hands raised if you thought the one win Jets were going to pull it out a win? It’s been a crazy season, but when the Miami Dolphins beat the NY Jets, it left only the Cincinnati Bengals as the only team in the NFL without a win.
I knew going into a game where both teams had one win combined that we were going to get a barn burner. To be honest I was waiting for the punting parade to begin. I was hoping the game would go by quick because both teams, to be honest, are awful and I didn’t expect it to go any other way.
I will say this though, once Miami put Ryan Fitzpatrick back as the starting quarterback, the team has been scoring more points and the offense actually moves the ball. The Jets; however, are a complete mess and their fans let their displeasure with head coach Adam Gase been know. Chants and boos rained down from Jets fans through out the whole game.
With only a handful of games left for me on the season I wonder if this game where the Dolphins beat the NY Jets for their first win will be their only win of the season. The Dolphins may say they’re not tanking for Tua, but it feels like they’re angling for the top spot in the 2020 NFL draft. We shall see.
