Another football season is upon and how glorious it is. Thanks to the Sports Brothers I have another opportunity to photograph the Miami Hurricanes Football games this year at Sunlife Stadium. I’m excited to photograph the Miami Hurricanes this year not because I’ve a huge fan, ok that is a big reason, but because I have the opportunity to photograph some amazing athletes playing the great sport of football.
Are you ready for some football? On Monday July 29th the Miami Dolphins had a training camp scrimmage at Hard Rock Stadium for their season ticket holders and select fans and even though I’m a season ticket holder, I had no plans on attending. That quickly changed with a text from the Sports Bros. who said the had a media pass for me so I could get field access. Field access to the Miami Dolphins training camp scrimmage, um yes please. I quickly changed my plans for the night so I could go take photos of an NFL team practicing.
I’ve been spending the past couple of weeks hanging out at the Gulfstream Park watching the horse races. I know people like to go to the horse races to gamble but I just go to watch the races. One day sitting in the stands I got the idea that I wanted to photograph the races. Mainly I just wanted to photograph the horses as the rounded the last turn with dirt flying behind them.
I won’t lie, I’m really enjoying photographing these UM games. This week’s game was UM vs. Virginia Tech. Two teams that always play hard against each other and also a vital game in the ACC standings. What made it even better was that it was a night game and the temps were in the high ’60s.
UM vs. FSU. Is there anymore that needs to be said? One of the great rivalries in all of college football. The best part for me was that I had the best seats in the house to watch it; right on the field.
This weekend I had another opportunity to photograph the Miami Hurricanes football game at Sunlife Stadium. The game this week was UM vs. NC. Unlike the previous game where it was a sauna on the field, this week’s game had slightly lower temps but there was a breeze that made the UM vs. NC game bearable.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO C-A-N-E-S Canes! This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to shoot the Canes vs. NC State game at Sunlife Stadium for the The Sports Brothers. I never had the opportunity to shoot any sports on college or pro levels but when the chance came up, I knew I couldn’t pass it up.
