There are some games I photograph that go my way and others, not so much. The Detroit Lions victory of the Dolphins went my way. I won’t lie it was probably my best game of the season. So much so that my photos are plastered all over the social media accounts of the Detroit Lions.
Walking into Hard Rock Stadium prior to the game felt different from other games. Maybe it was the Sunday Night Football vibe with their makeshift set sitting on the sidelines waiting for Mike Tirico, Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth to occupy. Or it could be the number of fans dressed in black and as pirates waiting for the team to run onto the field for warmups so they can cheer passionately. Either way, there is no better way to end a Sunday than with a game featuring the Dolphins vs Raiders.
The saying that every week in the NFL is different is true. The Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets game couldn’t have been the complete opposite of the Dolphins vs. Titans game just two weeks ago. This game had big plays on both sides of the ball, an injury to major player for the Dolphins and not to mention the 14 point come from behind victory the Dolphins had over their hated rivals, the Jets.
The Miami Dolphins vs. Tennessee Titans game at Hard Rock Stadium wasn’t the classic slobber knocker one would hope for at an NFL game. Instead it was a battle of the defenses as both offenses were downright offensive the whole game. To top off the lack of action on the field, the game time temperature on the field hovered around 115 degrees. Just another fall, October day at Hard Rock Stadium.
