Cruising on the Disney Magic to Castaway Cay
When my wife told me she booked us on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas I was a little apprehensive at first. A Disney cruise filled with screaming kids is what I pictured in my mind, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Cruising on the Disney Magic was truly a magical experience and I’m so ready to book our next Disney cruise.
Shark Valley and the Everglades
What better way to spend a Sunday than biking 10 miles through Shark Valley and then spending the rest of the day hanging out in the Everglades? Of course it’s always better when your partner in crime joins you and provides video play by play of what is going on. We had originally planned on going to Shark Valley last weekend but due to me being sick and basically incapacitated for an extremely long time, we postponed our trip till the following week.
Big Cypress National Preserve
After spending nearly 5 hours on a boat in the Everglades last week in search of wildlife such as alligators and great landscape photos of the Everglades and coming up basically empty, I decided to try another approach. I got up on Saturday morning and with my better half, we traveled across I-75 aka Alligator Alley on our way to Big Cypress National Preserve. I figured why just go on the outskirts of the Everglades when we can go into the heart of the Everglades.
Vizcaya
After visiting Vizcaya for the first time two months ago to help photograph a wedding there, I’ve been itching to go back and photograph it myself. Vizcaya is located on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, FL. It was the former home of James Deering who basically created these elaborate gardens and built a villa inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Miami Marine Stadium
A couple weeks back my friend, Nulise, asked me if I wanted to go photograph the graffiti at the Miami Marine Stadium in Key Biscayne and who am I to say no. You might remember the Miami Marine Stadium from when I photographed Lorell there. Well we sent a few texts back and forth and set up a time and date to meet up. We decided to got and photography the graffiti because the city will be renovating the decrepit and debilitated stadium soon and we wanted to capture some of the art that has been painted on to the walls of the stadium.
Fall in the White Mountains
When September ends and October begins it reminds me of fall in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The chill in the air, the vibrant colors of the leaves shining with bright golds and reds, warm apple cider. Yup, there is nothing like Fall in the White Mountains.
