The 2016 Boca Raton Bowl featured two high scoring offenses; the Memphis Tigers and the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers. FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, FL was the backdrop for the game in which the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers defeated the Memphis Tigers 51-31. While the defenses for both teams didn’t fully show up to the game, they made sure to bring their offenses as both teams marched up and down the field at will.
The Boca Raton Bowl was a great game to experience to kick off my college football bowl game schedule. Having never seen these two teams play, it was sure fun to watch them for the first time. Both teams had me running up and down the field chasing the action. Other than the second half rain, there was not one blemish on the game.
