Living in South Florida I will admit I take for granted all the Miami attractions that the out of town tourists flock to. I figured why not take a day to be a tourist in my own city. I wanted to experience what out of town people come to Miami for. The beaches, the nightlife, the beautiful weather. I was going to be a tourist for once and check out all the things to do in downtown Miami and Miami Beach.
A couple weeks back my friend, Nulise, asked me if I wanted to go photograph the graffiti at the Miami Marine Stadium in Key Biscayne and who am I to say no. You might remember the Miami Marine Stadium from when I photographed Lorell there. Well we sent a few texts back and forth and set up a time and date to meet up. We decided to got and photography the graffiti because the city will be renovating the decrepit and debilitated stadium soon and we wanted to capture some of the art that has been painted on to the walls of the stadium.
On my way to the gym one night I noticed a carnival being set up right next to my gym. I’ve always wanted to photography a carnival and now was a better time than any. I’ve always love the carnival. The food, the games and especially the rides. Who could not have fun at a carnival?
